Job Description: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at the Comfort Inn. As a General Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting in guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
2. Make beds and change linens according to hotel standards.
3. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
4. Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
5. Ensure all surfaces are properly sanitized and disinfected to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
6. Handle guest requests for additional housekeeping services promptly and courteously.
7. Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor of any shortages.
8. Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of trash and waste materials.
9. Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate department.
10. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
11. Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
12. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
