Job Description: RCW Industrial Solutions Inc. in Canton, OH, is hiring a full-time Manual Machinist.
Duties:
- Machining of parts by drawing or sample to duplicate
- Machinist should have the ability to make sketches of parts to be made from existing parts
- Using micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices to ensure proper dimensions
- Requires knowledge of the operation of manual lathes and milling machine which includes turning, boring and threading
- Occasionally will assist in teardown, inspection and reassembly of cylinders
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
RCW Industrial Solutions Inc. was established in 1954 as a general line supplier to the mining, steel, agriculture and excavating industries. RCW now concentrates as a cylinder repair, hose shop and fitting supplier for all industries. We have machining capabilities to manufacture cylinder rods, tubes and glands. Our shop can also perform weld repairs as needed. Capacities are up to 14” diameter bores and we have repaired up to 22 feet in length.
Details: Full time. First Shift (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Monday through Friday. $25.00/hour to $30.00/hour (based on experience).
Qualifications: High school diploma / GED or vocational / technical degree. Must have at least 3 years of experience.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must Have Valid Driver’s License.
