Job Description: Magnetech Industrial Services in Massillon, OH, is hiring a full-time Machinist.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform repair and fabrication of components for AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, turbines, etc., using manual lathes, mills, shapers, drill presses, grinders as well as electroplating. Candidate must apply knowledge of machining procedures, mechanics, mathematics, metal properties and layout. (This is not a CNC position.)

Positive attitude, team atmosphere and ability to adapt to changes in daily activities are essential. Position requires some travel and working overtime/weekends, as needed, to meet customer and in-house demands.

Qualifications:

Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.

Details: Full time. 1st Shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). 50+ hours/week. Sunday through Saturday. $20.00 to $24.00/hour (based on experience).

Qualifications: High school diploma / GED. Must have at least 2 years of experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
