Job Description: Magnetech Industrial Services in Massillon, OH, is hiring a full-time Welder.

Job Summary:

Weld structural parts per print, customer specifications, and quality requirements

Responsibilities:

• Must be knowledgeable in MIG and TIG welding
• Blueprint reading and standards (supervisor will provide on the job training)
• Make fixtures as required to make job more efficient
• Weld in all directions
• Do fit ups
• Metal finishing as required
• Advise supervisor of NCMR on engineering type problems
• Assist others in the department as needed
• Must have excellent attendance

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand prints
• Able to understand weld symbols
• Must be able to pass certification test if required
• Ability to weld all types of metals: aluminum, steel and stainless
• Operate a forklift
• Operate a crane
• Operate spot welder and stud gun

Details: Full time. 1st Shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). 50+ hours/week. Sunday through Saturday. $18.00 to $24.00/hour (based on experience).

Qualifications: High school diploma / GED. Must have at least 2 years of experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
