Key Responsibilities: • Testing & Validation: Perform functional and performance testing on electronic products, systems, and components to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with circuit boards and electronic systems. Perform repairs on faulty components and systems as needed. • Test Fixture Development: Design and build custom test fixtures and equipment to improve testing efficiency and accuracy. • Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, helping them troubleshoot and resolve product- related issues. • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, repairs, and any modifications made to electronic systems. • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. • Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to testing processes, product designs, and support procedures to increase efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications: • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 2+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems. • Strong understanding of circuit board design, components, and functionality. • Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators). • Experience with soldering, reworking, and assembling circuit boards. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in designing and building test fixtures. • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for electronics manufacturing. • Familiarity with software for testing and debugging (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar).
