Job Description: Snelling Staffing has multiple full-time Mill Machinist positions in Canton, OH.
Duties:
- Set up and operate milling machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints or specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on milling machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of finished parts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating milling machines or similar equipment
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of machining techniques and principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Details: Full time. Second Shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.). 40 hours/week. Sunday through Saturday, Split, Rotating. $23.00 to $25.00/hour.
Qualifications: High school diploma / GED or vocational / technical degree. Must have at least 1 year of experience. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must Have Valid Driver’s License.
