Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Logistics Analyst in Pataskala to handle operational-related tasks, as well as analyze current services, projects and business initiatives to provide information for better decision-making. The Logistics Analyst will maintain databases, extract information and develop metrics to improve performance.
Responsibilities:
Provide analytical support to internal teams and customers.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Analyze the financial impact of changes in routing, equipment, carriers, sourcing and product mix.
Work on projects in a cross-functional team.
Develop training materials and train others in software applications.
Perform transportation and logistics cost analysis.
Resolve system tracking issues and incomplete shipments.
Collect data and prepare monthly accrual and forecast templates.
Act as a liaison between customer service and operations for key metric development.
Skills and qualifications:
Bachelor degree in business, supply chain, computer science or related field.
One year of related work experience.
Experience with data mining.
Able to create solutions-based reports.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Able to work onsite at a customer location.
