JOB SUMMARY:
This position represents small Caterpillar equipment sales focusing on the Agricultural market and rent-to-rent and new and used allied equipment sales in a defined geographic territory. The goal is consistently increasing the customer base of small Caterpillar equipment sales and rental revenue of new and used allied equipment sales. Occasional travel may be required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of CAT BCP equipment and three years of experience in the rental or sales of aerial/boom/scissor lifts, backhoe loaders, track-type tractors, generators, skid steer loaders, trench protection equipment, and other standard allied equipment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Must have a strong sales aptitude, be sales orientated, possess negotiating skills, and have a strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication, organization, detail, and multi-tasking skills are required.
- Must be a self-starter, possess a high energy level, and be able to learn technical materials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
