Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN General, Dialysis, Mental Health)
Location: Lebanon, OH 45026
Duration: At least 3 months from the projected start date
Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Job Description:
Deliver professional nursing care to patients in infirmaries, clinics, or correctional settings.
Observe, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress.
Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations per physician orders.
Monitor patients under restraint and respond promptly to emergencies (e.g., first aid, ER transfer).
Assist physicians in diagnostic evaluations and coordinate medical referrals.
Supervise and train lower-level nursing staff (RNs, LPNs) as assigned.
Perform specialized procedures such as IV therapy, dialysis, chemotherapy, wound care, and CPR.
Organize and lead 'Code Blue' response teams.
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, reports, and medical inventory.
Coordinate patient appointments and prescriptions.
Participate in staff education, team meetings, and process improvement activities.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of professional nursing procedures and state/federal regulations.
Proficient in using medical equipment (e.g., stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, EKG machine).
Strong written communication skills for documenting care and creating reports.
Ability to work with both abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to demonstrate physical fitness
Requires current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state of Ohio as issued by the Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Required Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
Licensure Required: Active RN license in the State of Ohio.
Certifications: Current BLS/CPR Certification.
