Job Description: The ABCD Inc., based in Canton, OH, is hiring multiple part-time Ambulette Drivers in Stark County, OH, and Tuscarawas County, OH.

These openings are for non-emergency wheelchair van drivers to transport clients to and from appointments ranging from physician's visits, dialysis, physical therapy, etc.

We are a door-to-door service, and you must be able to provide excellent and caring service to our clients while working in all weather conditions. You must have dependable transportation that will get you to and from our facility each day. Experience in transporting people is beneficial, and a basic knowledge of our service area(s) is expected. No specific level of education required, but a high school education or GED is preferred.

Non-CDL - Starting at $16.00/hour. After 90 days, $18.00/hour.

CDL - Starting at $18.00/hour. After 90 days, $20.00/hour.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 25 years old
• Clean driving record
• Between 3 to 5 years driving experience (preferred)
• CDL driver’s license (preferred)
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screen
• Ability to lift at least 85 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and retain CPR and first aid certifications
• Completion of defensive driving training

Details: Part time. First, Second, Third Shifts. Hours/week varies. Sunday through Saturday. Non-CDL $16.00/hour (starting wage), $18.00/hour (after 90 days). CDL $18.00/hour (starting wage), $20.00/hour (after 90 days).

Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must Have Valid Driver’s License (CDL Preferred)
