Credence has an immediate need for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support large-scale digital modernization efforts for mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) systems with massive national impact. This role will serve as a Sustainment Lead/SME, providing expert-level knowledge of lifecycle sustainment, while leading the design, customization, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications. The developer will build workflows, integrations, and user-facing solutions that align with mission requirements, while ensuring compliance with DoD security and sustainment standards. The candidate will also provide technical leadership, direct junior developers, and help ensure sustainment and modernization objectives are met on schedule. This position is based in Credence's corporate offices located Dayton OH. This role is on-boarding now.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below




Formulate and define specifications for complex software applications and maintain/modify existing systems using manufacturer utilities and engineering releases.
Design software, hardware, and communication architectures to meet enterprise and cross-functional requirements, ensuring compliance with DoD open systems standards.
Lead efforts in program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for mission-critical systems.
Provide in-depth software systems programming and analysis, including advanced file maintenance, telecommunications networks, and scientific/mathematical software packages.
Apply expertise with MicroStrategy or other BI platforms for analytics, data modeling, and dashboard design to support mission operations.
Implement modern security solutions such as blockchain and cryptography to harden system designs.
Direct, mentor, and review the work of task personnel, ensuring quality assurance, adherence to standards, and project deadlines are met.
Identify, assess, and present options for system improvements, including hardware/software upgrades and emerging technologies.
Evaluate new and existing software products; ensure systems remain efficient, sustainable, and aligned with mission requirements.
Work closely with project management to define project schedules and technical direction.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications




Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
Serve as a Sustainment SME/Lead, providing expert-level support in sustainment lifecycle management activities across ServiceNow applications and modules.
Analyze functional requirements and design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions that address business domains such as personnel, logistics, finance, and contracts.
Enhance applications to reduce operating time, improve efficiency, and ensure high availability across ServiceNow environments.
Develop and support REST/SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and external DoD/federal systems.
Prepare program-level and user-level documentation, ensuring adherence to Information Assurance (IA), Quality Assurance (QA), and Change Management (CM) standards.
Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and debugging to ensure ServiceNow applications meet mission-critical requirements.
Implement and manage security models and role-based access controls in alignment with DoD compliance requirements.
Provide guidance and technical direction to junior ServiceNow developers and ensure deadlines and sustainment objectives are met.

Active NACLC/Secret Clearance preferred.
