Job Description:
The cook supervises inmate workers assigned to the kitchen. The cook prepares food for inmates that are housed in the county jail. The cook is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the jail kitchen and is accountable for all equipment utilized in our jail kitchen. Normal work hours are 6am to 5pm.

Desired Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent, commercial kitchen experience preferred.  Must comply with the Ashtabula County Drug Free Workplace policy and pass a criminal background check

Compensation & Schedule: 
$19.75-22.79
Part time 22-32hr per week, 1st shift 
Sunday through Saturday (alternating days)
Sick leave and paid holidays
