Foundry Production Worker

For over 53 years, Buckeye Aluminum Foundry has been producing quality aluminum castings while providing solid manufacturing careers in our community. We value discipline, dependability, and a strong work ethic.

Job Duties:

• Creating sand molds for our metal castings

• Using grinders and hand tools to clean/ debur castings

• Lifting up to 85 lbs.

• Standing on your feet all day.

• Working in confined spaces.

• Using equipment such as hand tools, industrial metal furnaces, forklifts, blasters and overhead cranes

• Working with a team as well as independently

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

• Work environment is a hot, dirty, loud environment.

• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body. Such as lifting, walking, standing, bending, etc.

• Lift and carry up to 85 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.60 – $23.60 per hour

Expected hours: 45 hrs. per week. Lately have been working 9-hour shifts – 6am – 3 pm.

Schedule:

• 9-hour shifts

• M-F 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. 1st shift only

• Occasional Saturdays as needed. (only work 6am-2pm on Saturdays)
