Position Summary:
Based in Cincinnati, OH the Senior Manager, Connected Solutions & Software delivers high quality, innovative, and market leading software and IoT based solutions that transform the way they do business.
Working directly with Global New Product Development, Product Management, and the Dover Digital teams the Senior Manager, Connected Solutions & Software is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic planning, technology roadmaps, and positioning of our IoT and Software solutions and expansion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify new opportunities to drive business growth leveraging data and dispenser connectivity.
* Work with Director of Product Management and Product Managers to bring new and enhanced connected products to markets with clear value proposition and pricing.
* Define new product development opportunities and build a robust funnel of prospective new investment projects in both existing and new markets.
* Collect and assess information from voice of customer, market dynamics, and technological advancements that will define future connected or software product offerings to deliver a better customer experience.
* Assess current connected offering. Identify existing product / technology gaps and develop actions to address identified needs.
* Identify and implement solutions to product / technology gaps that support future complete solution offerings.
* Work closely with Dover Digital development team to drive product development timeline and successful on-time launch of enhancements and new products.
* Partner with Sales to identify and close customer opportunities in the markets and verticals we serve.
* Support sales enablement by providing product and technology training to the existing sales team. Ensure alignment on value propositions and pricing in the market.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or another related field.
* Ability to travel both domestic and internationally up to 25% of time.
* 10+ years' experience in business development, sales, product management
* Experience of connected and digitalization product definitions.
* Understanding of the evolving business opportunities from vehicle connectivity and big data with the objective to derive customer value.
* Business model transformation related to subscription-based models.
* Great interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team setting.
* Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written to all levels of the organization in English.
