Job Summary

The Director of Ethics has day to day responsibility to plan, direct and manage initiatives to foster an ethical culture amongstakeholders by communicating corporate values and ethical expectations through effective training and awareness; interpreting and applying policies and ethical standards to business situations; investigating reports of misconduct; and analyzing ethics activity to identify and report trends.

The Director of Ethics is expected to research issues and rules related to ethics to determine their impact on our Company. They will establish a compelling vision for the ethics program and pursue courses of action necessary to foster an ethical culture with minimal supervision, delivering results with the highest integrity by working across and removing organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

Manage and direct a high performance team through effective leadership to deliver high quality results the right way.
Assess organizational risks for possible misconduct and reputational impact, and develop and implement initiatives designed to prevent and detect unethical behavior.
Maintain and interpret a companywide Code of Business Ethics for employees as well as codes targeting other stakeholder groups (e.g., Supplier Code of Conduct and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics for Members of the Board of Directors).
Serve as an independent assurance function to advise and assist all levels of employees to advance the business consistent with the ethical standards of the organization often involving complex analysis.
Oversee effective training and awareness programs to deliver ethics and corporate compliance content to personnel based on job requirements.
Champion an internal network of ethics liaisons in the business to produce change management plans to support the Company's ethics initiatives.
Administer a system for the receipt, investigation and disposition of misconduct reports where concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation.
Analyze data to prepare reports for management and the Audit Committee with key performance indicators and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of the ethics program.

Required/Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degreeAND six (6) years minimum of related work experience

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience in Ethics, Employee Relations, Human Resources, Legal or other relevant positions
Demonstrated ability to convey information clearly and effectively to different audiences
Proven self-starter with a high degree of self-confidence
Ability to collaborate as an effective member of the team
Strong listening skills
Sound judgment and decision making skills
Experience managing confidential information with a high degree of integrity
Excellent work product and attention to detail

Working Conditions

Hybrid environment - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to their listed location.
Office environment may include prolonged sitting at desk or workstation, exposure to personal computer monitor, and frequent use of keyboard and phone.
Work environment requires the ability to work under time constraints and associated pressures.
