About the Job

Job Summary

We are currently hiring an Applications Support Specialist II for our Technology team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to troubleshoot and resolve escalated service desk tickets while assisting in all phases of new application development, testing and implementation within our time automation, time entry and time collection systems.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

Provide end user support of the suite of custom and vendor supplied applications including troubleshooting, resolving problems, and documenting application support process flows.
Experience with applications including Bullhorn Time & Expense, Kronos, and custom time collections systems.
Create and execute basic SQL Server reports and T-SQL queries.
Provide Tier I & II /other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications.
Provide guidance to end users on how to use applications

Competencies

Competencies we value for this role include Ethical conduct, the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms. Two years of experience in an IT systems/applications support environment. Must be familiar with the following scripting languages: HTML, JavaScript and VBScript and Use of Microsoft SQL Management Studio required, experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio and creating custom macros using VBA. Proficient with computers and common business desktop technologies (Email, Web Browser, Word, Excel, etc.). Have good problem-solving, analytical skills as well as the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to effectively prioritize in a high-volume environment and work both independently and within a team.
