OMS Functional Consultant:

10+ years of experience in Order Management, Order to Cash, Order Fulfillment areas
Implementation experience with large scale OMS solutions such as IBM Sterling OMS, Manhattan OMS, Kibo etc.
Prior experience of facilitating business process, requirements and solutioning workshops in large multi-vendor environments
Prior experience in creation and maintenance of detailed functional requirements documentation
Prior experience in generation of process flow diagrams/user journeys using use case visualization tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart etc.
Prior experience working with business teams to identify functional requirements and prioritize prospective MVPs
Familiarity with other systems within the app landscape such as WMS, POS, ERP, TMS, ECOM etc. is preferable
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and client management skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of merchandising strategies and practices to deliver exceptional client outcomes. The position operates on a day shift schedule with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage consulting projects focused on merchandising strategies to enhance client outcomes.
Oversee the development and implementation of merchandising solutions tailored to client needs.
Provide expert advice on merchandising best practices and industry trends to clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Conduct thorough analysis of client merchandising processes to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and present detailed reports and recommendations to clients based on analysis findings.
Ensure all consulting projects are completed on time within scope and meet client expectations.
Mentor and guide junior consultants to foster their professional growth and development.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform merchandising strategies and decision-making processes.
Maintain strong client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the consulting practice to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

Possess a minimum of 14 years of experience in consulting with a focus on merchandising.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of merchandising strategies practices and industry trends.
Exhibit strong analytical skills to conduct thorough assessments and develop actionable recommendations.
Showcase excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to clients.
Display proficiency in project management to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Hold a relevant certification such as Certified Management Consultant (CMC) or equivalent.
Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members to support their development.
Exhibit strong client relationship management skills to maintain and grow client engagements.
Possess the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Show a commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry advancements.
Display strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Demonstrate proficiency in using data analytics tools to inform merchandising strategies.
Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential project challenges.
