Title: Scaffold/Insulation Technician
Location: Dayton, OH
Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM

Job Description

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:

Must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. "Safety First" expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair to be performed in conformance with established quality standards.

Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.

Must have working knowledge of all hand / power tools to perform metal layouts of all types, use math facts and charts, and be able to apply knowledge to perform all insulation functions.

Works from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment as necessary to complete tasks.

Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job. Must maintain a consistent and good attendance record in accordance with Company policy

Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.

Compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.

Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.

Communicates with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the company's goals and objectives

Maintain personal tools required for your job. Meet physical requirements of the job.

Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner.

Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.

Must maintain positive customer and employee relations

Education: Possess a high school degree or an approved GED.

Experience: 2 years associated procedural experience / data entry

Certifications: OSHA approved Scaffold building certification.

Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time

Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools

Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment

Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner

Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties

Communication/ Expression -The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.

Information Ordering - The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
