The Distribution Technician:


Responsible for inspecting, packing, and shipping of tissue for distribution.
Responsible for stocking newly released inventory
Assist in regular inventory verification.
Responsible for maintaining shipping data base of customers.
Assist in the bulk mailing of marketing packets.
Ensure the Distribution area is kept orderly and that Distribution functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsible for reviewing all related paperwork generated by Distribution to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, work instructions and applicable regulations.
Participate in the on-call rotation schedule required for the emergency ordering process and alarm systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:


High School diploma or equivalent.
Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions.
Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care.
Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) preferred
Must be able to follow directions and serve as a team member.
Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.

Work Environment/Physical Activities:


Heavy lifting required.
Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation

The tissue bank was born in 1986 and is now one of the nation's largest tissue banks. Solvita recovers, processes, and distributes human tissue grafts and is the nation's largest non-profit provider of skin grafts for burn patients.
