Overview
OHC is searching for a PRN Advanced Practice Provider with at least 2 years of experience and is well versed in the care of adult blood and bone marrow transplantation (allogenic and autologous), CAR T-cell, and other immunotherapies to join their multi-disciplinary team. A successful candidate would demonstrate a high level of comfort working both in a multidisciplinary team and independently.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain medical history, perform physical examinations, review and order diagnostic studies, radiographs and prescribe treatments via phone.
Utilizes advanced practice knowledge to identify, prevent or solve complex and/or recurring bone marrow transplant patient care problems.
Follows and manages patient in collaboration with MD enhancing continuity of care.
Collaborates with staff and physicians to facilitate a comprehensive plan of care and coordinates resources and writes appropriate orders improving access to care, establishing goals for the delivery of care to patients, participating in clinical research, and managing communications between physicians, patients, family and staff.
Maintains and practices in accord iwth practice guidelines per state and hospital regulations.
Provides consultation to both nurses and physicians and serves as a resource to staff in ares(s) of expertise.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Nurse Practitioner
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. This position is entry-level and typically requires a minimum of 0-3 years post MSN experience, preferably in the chosen specialty. RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
OR
Physician Assistant
Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification. This position is entry-level and typically requires 0-3 years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferably in the chosen specialty. Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
