Myriad Mental Health provides informatics-based precision medicine and treatment decision support to healthcare providers for behavioral health. GeneSight is a pharmacogenomic test which analyzes clinically important genetic variations in DNA and how these variations and patient genes may affect medication outcomes. Results can inform healthcare providers about how the patient may break down or respond to certain medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric conditions.
The Myriad Mental Health Sales team is dynamic and innovative, driving revenue through a variety of tactical and strategic initiatives. Myriad Mental Health Sales Co-Ops will primarily focus on driving sales in addition to gaining knowledge through learning experiences and exposure to various functional areas, which may include Marketing, Sales Operations and Analytics, Customer Service, Medical Affairs, and Lab Operations. As a Myriad Mental Health Sales Co-Op, you will:
Complete Myriad Mental Health product and sales training
Learn, practice, and perform a variety of sales engagement calls to target physicians, physician practice staff, and patients
Complete a project as assigned by the co-op leader; this may include research, analysis, and presentation
Specific Sales Activities may include:
Utilize a variety of data sources to identify target customers; initiate and manage relationships with prospective target customers
Initiate and manage relationships with prospective target customers
Communicate with healthcare providers and their staff about pharmacogenomic testing and the benefits for their patients
Proactively contact provider offices to educate, address questions, and maintain Myriad Mental Health presence
Experience Requirements
Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or Life Sciences
Junior or above status preferred
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester
Excellent phone skills and ability to quickly develop and manage relationships over the phone
Agile and able to adapt to rapidly changing external circumstances or internal needs
The ability to utilize systems, tools, and data to prioritize tasks and achieve results
The ability to understand sales cycle and track related data
