The Blueprint (Role Profile)
Apex Tool Group in Dayton, OH is looking for a 2ndshift Heat Treat Operator to report to our Heat Treat Supervisor.
The Build (Responsibilities)
*Set-up and operate heat treat equipment and verify quality:
oHeat-treat robots
oFurnaces
oInduction
oGrit blasters
oHardness testers
*Read and understand instructions and maintain documentation:
oShop order routings
oHT recipe cards
oRecord process
*Basic computer skills:
oMaintain robot adjustments
oGenerate Heat Treat recipe cards for incoming orders
*Physical requirements:
oWork in high temperature environment
oWear proper PPE (hard hats with face shields etc.)
*Clean and de-sludge high heat open bath furnaces
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of similar work experience.
Work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week)
Stand and walk continuously for 8 hours.
Ability to work in high heat environment
Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
