JOB SUMMARY

The Vice President of Manufacturing will oversee all manufacturing operations within the organization, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic leader who can align manufacturing processes with the company's goals, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of safety and productivity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop and implement the manufacturing strategy to support overall business objectives.

* Collaborate with executive leadership to align manufacturing initiatives with company goals.

* Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes.

* Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.

* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

* Lead initiatives to maintain and improve product quality and consistency.

* Champion a culture of safety across all manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.

* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing manufacturing team.

* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

* Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

* Analyze production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.

* Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

* Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to maintain competitive advantage.

* Work closely with supply chain, engineering, and R&D teams to align manufacturing capabilities with product development and market demand.

* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support manufacturing objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

* 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in the chemical industry.

* Proven experience in a senior leadership role, demonstrating a track record of operational excellence and team leadership.

* In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.

EDUCATION REQUREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* Able to stand for long periods of time.
